Ideal World deliveries

I ordered one of those Halogen Oven thingies from Ideal World on Sunday evening.

Initially their website estimated it would be delivered on 25th January 2011!!!

Surprise, surprise, it arrived this afternoon. It's baking potatoes for me as I type.

Ideal World's website is still estimating it'll be delivered tomorrow.

I know Ideal World has a reputation for late deliveries, but the last few items I've ordered have arrived pretty quickly. :clapping:

Got no complaints here with stuff from IW. Ordered the halogen oven when it was the pick of the day and arrived 2 days later by HDNL. Yet my parcel from Amazon via HDNL only just arrived yesterday after being promised delivery for the 4th Dec!

When their deliveries are good, they are flipping excellent....but they seem to excel more often as downright slow!

I find they are good, but the currier only comes on a Thursday. So it depends on when I place my order. When I order Mon/Tue it comes that week.
