I've just been watching for an hour - bored on a Sunday, you know how it is! - and I am literally floored by the prices! I know gold prices have soared but seriously every single one of the pieces has been incredibly over-priced. "Prinneu Tourmaline" which is no nicer than normal green tourmaline is selling for ridiculous amounts of money. Granted the cuting is nice (although the Tourmalines are very dark) and the designs are different but seriously? How much?

I was working out that I could buy an equivalent (but nicer stone) and have a setting made for between 50-70% cheaper. I am amazed people are buying at these prices.

Every tourmaline they sell is ridiculously priced, the Morro Redondo Pink Tourmaline, Indicolite, Paraiba (utter joke prices), Itatiaia, Santa Rosa etc.
I am baffled people pay the prices!

I am constantly amazed at their prices and that there seem to be so many people who are prepared to pay them. They also seem to sell out of items on the first price drop and their customers don't seem to realize that they will drop the price again, sometimes several times, so they are clearly paying over the odds.
I bought a welo opal ring (admittedly beautiful) from them and saw eight of them sold in their sale about 10 days later for £90 less. I contaced CS, but was told they will only price match for a week, so no refund for me. If they can afford to sell so many for £90 less, they clearly made a huge profit on my ring and I'm not prepared to contribute to their coffers to that extent. I no longer watch or buy.

I can't help but be suspicious of this. If the products were selling like hot cakes, why would they put the same product on air a week later for less??? It's good selling tactics to make people think that everything is selling quickly because psychologically people believe they are getting a bargain!

Me too - on the odd occasion I have watched (only to see Johnny) I've found this totally bizarre. xxxxxxxx

I know everyone loves Jonny and that the guy has to earn a living but I do have a problem watching him tell me about the low prices when they are so obviously ridiculously high and with cheese wire gold.
I guess integrity is not a necessity on shopping channels.
