Holster - Are they Hot?

I keep looking at the Holster sandals, debating whether to buy a pair. But my reservation is that if they are plastic , are they hot & slippy in the hot weather? Also, are they strong? When I have had "plastics" or "Jellies" in the past, they have always split? Thanks!

I haven't tried them but when they were on last summer they were telling people to go a full size up, so if you do go for them it's probably a good idea to check out the reviews to see if sizing is mentioned.
