IW going to cut approximately 15% of staff resulting in the loss of around 70 positions. They have a programme to phase out temporary staff by the end of December 2008 and are also offering the option of voluntary redundancy. Ideal Shopping Direct PLC have also identified certain full-time positions whose responsibilities could be absorbed or amalgamated with other existing positions.

Not good news just before Christmas, I wonder if it will effect the presenters?

It will effect them last, but I am not surprised really, the way (and things) they sell, I am amazed it has taken this long.

Shame really as they had such potential at the start.
