Totally agree.C&P has been matched if not eclipsed by the hot cloth cleansers from other retailers, and if you're going to spend more for a toiletry item it's better if it's a serum or moisturiser in my book.

I know when Liz Earle started out they had to subcontract out their production to a third party to produce. Whether that changed as it grew and specifically when Avon initially bought them they had their own in house production!I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lacura hot cloth cleanser is made at the same factory as Liz Earle’s C & P and just packaged in the different tubes.
I don't use it anymore. I like the Lacura dupe when available.
It wouldn't surprise me if the LE one has changed for the worse.
I agree, I used to buy Liz Earle all the time but I go to Superdrug now. I’ve stopped believing the hype on QVC about everything and now I am sending a lot more back to them.I got a free sample from Boots a wee while ago. Having tried C&P a few times since Liz Earle still owned the company, I found it to be so thick it dragged my skin and my skin felt sore afterwards. The recent sample was a a lot creamier and it was much easier to use and skin felt ok. However I’ll stick with Superdrug’s own brand as it’s so much cheaper.
Lots of things come from the same factory and are just packaged differently.I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lacura hot cloth cleanser is made at the same factory as Liz Earle’s C & P and just packaged in the different tubes.
