Grumpy gardener shovel

Last spring I bought one of those arrow shovels that they're flogging again at the moment - all I can say is avoid! - one of the flimsiest garden tools i've ever used - just digging out a few gooseberry plant roots and the handle literally bent backwards approx 30 degrees - I had to stand on it to bend it back into "shape".

Actually I had one of those in a trowel form with the serrated edge down one side and pointed head bit. The handle bent right back from the head when I was digging out some weeds. You're better off with the traditional type as they are much more robust.

Totally,have now gone back to using my grandfather's shovel..noticed that somebody else has only given it 1 star on QVC's reviews..i'm still waiting for my review to go up (1 star)..tried it again today and the thing bent again..fair to say it's knackered.

Still waiting for my review to go up...how long do they take?...something else i've noticed with this item is that either the other 1 star review has been removed (?!) or they've relisted the item under a different name/number from last year to hide the sh1te review?....just to confirm - this item is complete sh1te - if anyone's thinking of wasting their hard earned dosh on it.
