Thankyou SCW, never tried GH but these colours look very pretty and the lip lift and eye lift are by all accounts really good products. Hmmm... tempted.

I am surprised QVC still sell GH. You can buy it cheaper online and on market stalls.

I remember AY long ago stating 14ct suited every skin tone etc. Bought it and no it does not. Same colour going from the 90s.

I got a 14ct gold lipstick on my local market and although it's a nice colour, it's worn off in no time. The eye lift gel is less than useless.

The 14ct gold lipstick looked horrendous on me. The eye lift was a waste of money too. I would not buy GH again. I also can't understand how QVC are still selling it.

This is almost like a blast from the past - they don't seem to do any GH hours these days, let along a TSV. Not that I miss it. I bought a couple of TSVs over 10 years ago - always used to laugh at how Youth Lift 2000 was known in Hollywood as the 'facelift in a bottle' and Tova's Cactine Mask was known as the 'facelift in a jar' (despite the fact that it came in a tube). The only GH product I was impressed with was the lip lift, which lasts for ages, but as evidenced above - you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Exactly the same for me,do not understand how this is still on Q,14ct gold lipstick made me look washed out.

there's a cheapo make up shop in town where I live and it has Gayle Hayman stuff for a few quid, I have never bought any as it looks a bit old fashioned, it does make me laugh when A Y claims that is only available on QVC , she's obviously doesn't root around discount stores and market stalls

The Gayle Hayman guest is looking more than a little sunkissed - surprised AY's not been telling her off and plugging Ultrasun. :wonder:

Horrible naff old stuff. HATE the packaging too. Never been tempted to buy it. The two lip colours in that Tsv are vile IMO.

The guest looks like a throwback from the 1980s with that sleek high crowned hairstyle and AY's makeup is equally dated. What a difference to when she's presenting a Bobbi Brown hour!

Come on QVC, this range is way out of date. Get rid of it.

Exactly. It's the polar opposite of Bobbi Brown. Dated, bright pink lipsticks and totally overdone. Actually, I remember last year seeing the lippies at a car boot last year for £2 each! Get rid QVC!

I caught a bit of the midnight opening. I nearly choked laughing when AY stated GH was considered not sure of the exact words, but something like a BIG brand in the US. I belong to a number of beauty boards and read blogs, most are US and the brand is never ever mentioned.

We also got the 'popular with Hollywood A-listers' and that QVC are the 'exclusive stockists of the brand in the UK'. Tanya looked utterly disdainful about the whole thing, pissed off in fact. She must have been thinking how she'd drawn the short straw to follow Amica, who'd been pampered by Gatineau all day.

Gale Hayman supposedly writes for the new York Times. I have a very trendy young Aunt living in Manhatten and working in NYC. She said she has never heard of GH.
