I suppose all people have their own concept of what constitutes a 'freak'. It's easy to ascribe this mental concept to people doing things that fall outside of whatever we have been convinced constitutes ‘normal’, but I would definitely not lump Harald into this category.

I am an avid people watcher and I quite frankly wish there were more people like him in the world. It would certainly make my day to day life far more interesting and exciting! Plus, I totally admire fashiony people who do not rely on others as a primary source for their own appearance. They are the people who depend on their own senses, their own experiences, their own interpretations and ultimately their own mind as the means to dress themselves. It takes guts to do that, and I'm sure Harald is subjected to a huge amount of scorn on a daily basis.

Good on him, I say. It's far easier to fit in than stand out.

He does seem like a nice person but no-one can deny that he looks freaky, as does anyone who has altered their face with plastic surgery - he looks quite cute on these 'before' pictures

I see, inspired by JR whilst borrowing her max wall leggings. Almost all garments look like production costumes for porn station middle aged or mature ladies "who know how to please their men" (as the designer does, im sure)

Harald is a real character and brings some colour to his shows. I find it amusing watching the presenters trying to do their job while he just trundles on regardless. Some of his clothes seem quite stylish too. The tsv is encroaching on the territory of our friend from Montreal, Canada, though. The only thing I'm not keen on about Harald is that his selling technique is heavily centred around how anyone wearing his creations will be a man-magnet. Surely that's outdated and faintly distasteful. Other than that, well, he is what he is, and I'm not about to marry the bloke so live and let live. Rather him than the usual qvc wallpaper.

There is no way the OP is not having a good laugh at all of this IMO – obviously not a happy or very pleasant person. Be aware JR, what goes around comes around eventually. You'll be a very lonely person one day.

You know what Frazzled, that hadnt entered my head but I guess you could be right! Anyone trying to elicit a response such as those in this thread (mine included) is a genuinly empty self-loathing individual whose adult/child self-balance is very much balanced in the negative. You have to ask yourself what happened in their childhood to make them so odious! However, they still have no sympathy for me in this instance.
