WOW QVC you really know how to excite your customers. Free p & p, be still my beating heart.

How about VAT free day, now that would be something special for once.

For some things free P&P is worth more than VAT free. Say you bought a candle set at £30ish, P&P is liable to be £5.95 that is more than the 15% VAT.
 
Just as an aside re 'VAT free' - I noticed that Saab (I think) have an offer on at the moment for VAT free prices (I saw it in ad on the TV) and at the bottom it explains that this is in fact just a discount and the VAT will still be paid. Just in case there was anyone who thought that Saab had decided not to pay VAT to the government any more. Struck me as funny anyway, perhaps I need to get out more.

I agree with Sazza though - free p and p is generally much better as you could then order so many different smaller things without worrying

In Ireland free postage ain't free, we have to pay the difference including VAT between the UK and our price. They'd get blood out of a cauliflower up in QVC.:64:
 
is it me or are the beauty tsv's become more difficult to predict? the contents of them i mean
