Yes, old "Kenny Darlin'" as I call him. I haven't seen him for a while, he'll be away dredging up some more tat to demo or learning yet more patronising comments.haha - Bogbrush Kenny. Is he still on, then?
Yes, I agree he's entertaining and he presents well. I get all of that. What I don't like is what I said, leading the more innocent BAs along, only to switch back to the brand as soon as they've forgotten they're actually presenting that brand. That makes me uncomfortable and I wish he'd stop it.I actually like Charlie sometimes hes quite entertaining

Talks too much about herself and talks over BACan't stand Jill Franks
And sidles up to the Celebritie'sTalks too much about herself and talks over BA
This is why I find her funny. She's blown away by their fame and success. Doesn't she realize that the TV audience is laughing at how she sucks up to them? ( I'm laughing - other people might be switching her off.)And sidles up to the Celebritie's
And tells fibs in order to sell. I remember her saying once she never ever wore socks with any of her trainers ( the crap one retains!!) Anyway, when she was flogging the Tommy Copper TSV she said that she always wears these socks with her trainers! Can't stand her, talks utter crap if you really listen. And sidles up to the Celebritie's
I must have blinked and missed that momentI actually like Charlie sometimes hes quite entertaining
Sorry Donna, I don't agree. Most of the presenters don't claim to have, use or buy every item they are currently flogging - as Jill Franks and Gill do, to name two. Imo it's not necessary but I do appreciate when presenters, for example, wear the foundation or the clothes that are currently flogging. And I certainly wouldn't buy an item just because a presenter says they use it all the time. What you all need to realize is. All the presenters will say they love every product and have them. Makes no difference if the show before that product, which goes against the currant show products will be the best ever, and they have billions of them.
It is their job to sell, no different to walking up to a counter say John Lewis etc their products are the best ever. That is their job, to sell to a customer. I told this story before a friend worked at the Givenchy counter in Debenhams and when asked which foundation she was wearing. Of course, it was a Givenchy one, but actually she did not like Givenchy foundation and really wore a different brand. But she worked for Givenchy and was not going to lose a sale by saying what she really wore.
We need to remember QVC presenters are not our friends, they are just there to sell stuff for QVC.
I get that in part as in it's the presenter's job to say positive things about the product in front of them, but if they're going to say that it's a product that they regularly use, or something they actually own, then it needs to be true. The presenters realise that there's no way of us viewers telling whether they're telling the truth or not, but they need to remember that we're not stupid. We'll remember a presenter telling us that Elemis is the only brand they'll let near their skin, only to hear them profess exactly the same for Gatineau or whatever other brand they're trying to flog us. Fashion - Ophelia for example will claim to be "luvvin" some dreadful Frank Usher top that let's face it we know she's thinking "get this bliddy thing off me NOW" and that's ok, she's gotta say something. It's when they go as far as to say I've got this and I wear it all the time, or as soon as I'm off air I'm gonna put an order in!What you all need to realize is. All the presenters will say they love every product and have them. Makes no difference if the show before that product, which goes against the currant show products will be the best ever, and they have billions of them.
