Have just watched QVC's lovely farewell to Anthony Heywood and couldn't help thinking of the way Ideal World obliterates all hint of presenters who leave. They don't even acknowledge that someone is leaving - they just vanish without trace and mention of their names seem to be forbidden. Absolutely disgusting but typical of the callous approach they're cultivating more and more. And yes, I know they're just a shopping channel, but they still, as far as I can tell, hire human beings and people like Deano, Carla, Nikki, etc IMO did a far better job than some of the ones who have still managed to brown-nose their way into keeping their contracts.
