Face Creams - Big Brands or High Street?

I'm a sucker for the high end stuff & my skin is pretty good for near 50.
I'm willing to take the gamble they do help, I don't want to get to 60 with a face full of wrinkles & realise they would have helped had I used them in time.
I use philosophy for cleansing & peels (exfoliating).
I'm a tart for moisturisers, I'm using mainly Decleor at the moment but I use Alpha H, philosophy, Elemis & others too.
I also use neck creams.

Used to use Nivea all the time, yes it's thick and creamy but suited my skin! Not done me to much harm or my family who also used it. Do use other products now and think it's best to try different brands. :mysmilie_8:

I was refering to the smell of Nivea creams, not the texture or efficacy of it.
If they brought out an unscented version of it, I would give it a try. I am extremely intolerant of certain scenty smells used in skincare products, they are one of my migraine triggers so have to be careful. Even if something promises miraculous results, I still couldn't use it if unable to tolerate the smell.

C G that is me to a T and price has no bearing on what I can tolerate.
