I'm probably on my 3000th yogurt from 1 packet of Easiyo

I make 1 litre every day, using about 2 teaspoons from the previous batch.

Been doing this for at least 15 years (barring holidays) so that would make it almost 5,500.

But I think it did go wrong once, so I had to use a second sachet of Easiyo.

In fact, I don't even like the actual Easiyo, but it gets better and better with each batch.

Out of curiosity, what do you add to the 2 tsps. of yoghurt?
Water and powdered milk? And do you still get a thick yoghurt?
I haven't tried this myself, yet, but you seem to have a tried and tested recipe.

Milk, I use UHT skimmed, but semi should work as well>

It is still thick, just like any yogurt.

I'm just about to eat my next portion.

Thank you.

On the video I watched yesterday they used powdered milk, but that is because they only paid $1 (Australian) for a kilo.
May give this a try once I have used up my current supplies of shop bought and Easiyo.
We don't go through as much as you, but it should work out cheaper than buying the sachets and have less additives than the shop bought ones

Enjoy your homemade yoghurt
