I'd get the one on the outlet spotted above by Wise Aunty.I like a tote bag but I am picky. I hate totes like the LV Neverfull, I have one and rarely use it. The thing I dislike about these totes is the gaping, wide open mouth top, they are a dream for any thief. This Paul Costelloe looks nice but I don't know if it has a zip closure, which is a must for me.
I am not familiar with the brand at all, so I have no idea of the quality of the bags. There is a cross body on the Q website which caught my eye while looking for details on this tote (unavailable as yet), the x-body is tempting me. The colours are somewhat bland and uninspiring across the entire PC collection. I like the equestrian theme, although it screams wannabe Hermes! Does anyone here own a PC bag and if so, how is the quality?
Payday is around the corner and I may treat myself but I will shop around first. Thanks to SCW for the post, photos and the nod to Brand Alley.
xx
The tsv looks cheaply made, despite the suggestion of luxury.
The clue is in the 'made for' (QVC) i.e. knocked up to shift loads - volume sales.
I'm not sure PC actually does much of the designing of the Q goods. He's there to make some money by shifting stuff to a large ( gullible) audience, whilst giving Q a large percentage (ie selling out.) I expect the stuff from real stores will be nice though, similar to Osprey. I'm in to horses & the Equestrian nod seems a blatant marketing ploy (to wannabees)....which I find patronising. Reminds me of Snoop at the olympics, fully decked out in (replica) dressage competition gear (probably MTM at Saville Row) riding around in a Golf buggy. I am a fan, so I'll give him the BOOD & assume that his tongue was firmly in cheek at the time.
