It's too big for the model, I think... QVC don't always get that they should show the clothes looking their best, not looking shapeless like this. Oh, wait - obviously they don't see their website as a sales tool!!!!

This sort of clothing is what I seriously have 'issue' with. I doubt very much whether anyone who is a size 16 or under will wear this (ok, prove me wrong); because any department store will have racks of fashionable items in size 8 upwards, and stop at a size 16/18 (yes YOU John Lewis). So, all of the size 20's and upwards are supposed to be grateful that we can find ANYTHING to fit - hence the shapeless vest and 'cardi' that's the OTO. Its easy to design and manufacture, and is prevalent in god awful prints in most plus size sections of High Street retailers.

I know damn well if I put this on, I would resemble how my mother looked in the 1970s when she was in her 50's, because that's how 'mums' looked back then - didn't have the money to have fashion sense and shops didn't really cater for them anyway. Q designers clearly haven't got the memo that we've moved on from then, and regardless of age, larger ladies are not 'lumps' to be fobbed with any old thing that will fit.

(Another gripe to get off my chesticles - I'm an average size body at 5'7, but just because I'm a size 20 does NOT mean I have the arms of an orang-utan ; I have the same length arms as a friend who is a size 14, yet my sleeves tend to be 5" longer !!!)
