Yay! They are lovely, and the blue is a glorious peacock blue, really very nice!
I ordered my usual M&S size (20R) and the fit is pretty good. I would always beg an extra inch in the rise, but I am naturally high waisted with a bum & tum to accommodate too.
I will probably order another pair, but they are showing as sold out now.

Maybe, as you have the item number, you could ring customer services and order them? Or hang on an hour or so until the launch and order then...

Glad to hear you're pleased with them. I'm not really a jeans person but that blue is stunning and rather tempting.

Just watching the TSV launch show and Catherine is wearing a stripe shark bite hem top and even she looks very hippy in it I think Jilly is wearing the same one too ... that type of hem line is horrendous for most women ..in fact I don`t think I`ve seen anyone who truly suits it yet!!

Does the older model (Jane?) have to keep shaking her bum at the camera?

Let's face it, most of us will not get excited by seeing her wiggle around (as we are likely to be women buying for ourselves) and even my other-half muttered about not wanting to see her backside - and he is usually not that bothered by what's on the screen.

Who does she think she is shaking her assets for exactly?

I've noticed from the website that the fabric for the coloured jeans is a different composition to the indigo or the black - so it doesn't look like it'll have as much 'stretch'.

How stretchy are your blue ones? I'm really tempted by the colour but don't like jeans to be too restrictive.

Thanks

All I can say Tiddlywinks is that they definitely have stretch, and it's enough for me.
Not having had the previous superstretch, I don't have anything to compare them to. I went to bed pre launch last night, but all options still seem to be in stock this morning, so I am just about to order a white pair.
I see there are two negative reviews about sizing already though.

I imagine they will be slightly less stretchy than the black and indigo as that was the case with previous ones I bought. They are still pretty stretchy but I did notice that when I put a bit of weight on they are more restrictive on the waistband where as the indigo and black were still supercomfy as they accommodated the weightgain.

I'm sure I've heard it said on air (maybe by Diane, or maybe by others) that black dye makes for less stretch, so perhaps also true for the darker blue jeans. They may have had to work with the different composition to get the same level of stretch in all options. I'm thinking there must be something in that, as I've also had other retailers advise that any products in black are less stretchy than the identical product in other colours.

I always like to see Kathy Tayler in Diane Gilman. The relaxed casual style really suits her as apposed to the smarter styles which she generally looks a bit of a pigs ear in. She definitely naturally suits a more casual look.

I don't know about Diane Gilman. I personally wear Levis 511's and like those!
Lee cooper jeans are a better fit for me. Also the Pepe range of jeans. Others I have to take in on the waist.
Generally these jeans do not have any stretch fabric. Years ago I used to wear them so tight that I had to lie on the floor to zip them up.

A colleague of mine recommended 'not your daughters jeans' anyone tried them? They sound like a designer (expensive) version of Diane Gilmans.

I like the price point of these tsv as I always live in hope of losing a bit of weight so don't want to make huge a financial investment.

Just wondering if anything was said as to why Diane wasn't on air with her range today? I remember that she mentioned last time she was here that she was having surgery of some sort, so I hope she's ok.

Not Your Daughter's Jeans are my usual brand of jeans, I buy them in the USA whenever I visit. They are very much cheaper there than here. The fit is excellent, but the denim is thin and wears through very quickly. For me that is a problem as the seat and inner thighs wear out before I've had them very long at all, and for the price I would expect a longer lifespan.
I definitely prefer Diane Gilman's prices. Just wish she would do a tall fitting, then I would buy those for the extra length in the rise and shorten the legs a tad.

Oops I am so happy with my black ones and my current jeans are all a bit tatty, so have also ordered indigo, white and blue.
