Those were the words used to describe a Berek top by the guest, another one ho thinks all female office workers are popping out to dinner after work every night.

Looked more like a case of Desk to Shredder to me. Hideous.

I wonder what the husbands and children of all these dinner-eating socialistas are doing for their tea? Pot noodle?

There's their world of popping out for dinner after work, etc, and for the rest of us the "real" world

Which presenter was it? They pilfered the name of a set of makeup from frontline cosmetics shown earlier., i may be wrong. If it is they must have thought "that's a good one...I will nab that"

In the real world I do occasionally go from "desk to dinner" but can I just make it clear that I have to nip home first to feed the cats, then it's off to the local pub and home before 8.30. Hardly calls for a "glamorous" Berek cardi. In fact I might not be let in wearing their offerings.

Why is it that QVC "fashion" is for office workers? There are thousands of other jobs out there but I suppose QVC would consider anything other than a corner office with a name on the door as too lowly. As an office worker of many years, the nearest I ever came to "desk to dinner" was scarfing down a McMeal in the car on the way home! Having said that, I can't help but feel wearing some of these clothes would actually put your other dinner guests off their food. Where do they get it from? Ugh.

it's always annoyed me they assume everyone works in an office.

unless of course you are a nurse who does shifts and then according to A Y you need every item of skin care under the sun to repair the ravages the will wreak on your complexion and of course don't forget the colourless nail polish too. Of course A Y does not know that any nail polish is a no no on a ward but hey why let reality get in the way of a sale

Shifts do wreck your system, but no cosmetics help, only rest and rest he he.
And infection control is very strong now,,, and some of the girls in work got told to take those nail things of, don't know the name of them, but they looked like proper nails to me, not long, just ordinary strong nails, well got told to take them off or face sack, which was probably a threat, but they all took them off, and no nail polish is allowed, even strengthener

exactly barbs - when you leave after a 16 hour night you can barely crawl to your car never mind cleanse tone and moisturise. silly b****!

I'm just home now after a very very busy night duty , but will have to be up around lunchtime , as I'm on a long day tomorrow ,so have to be up by 5.30 and it will be 10 pm before I'm home at the earliest.

Oh the joys of being a nurse
