Now that she has left C&C who thinks she will make a come back at QVC? I wouldn't be at all surprised.

I read she's moved/moving to Egypt...not sure whether the crafters here could confirm this?

She has said on FB that she has plans for returning to the craft world so I suppose we will just have to wait and see.

So, in other words, she's not moved to Egypt, she's just gone on holiday!

Yeah shes on a long holiday in Egypt but is coming back, She has a house she bought in Peterborough and 3 dogs. Said several times on FB she will be returning to the UK, I cant see her returning to Q more than likely she will return to C&C will her own range again as a guest.

I was in Cairo one February and it was warm enough (mid 80F) for me, it'll be getting really hot there this time of year, a good time to come back here I think.

Surely, to attract any well-known crafting presenters, QVC would need to reinvest in their craft shows. We only have the lovely, long-suffering, Anna Griffin these days. Her stuff is beautiful but it's not enough to really give QVC any craft credentials. It would however be nice to see some more variety than we get these days. It's all beauty, clothes, beauty, shoes, beauty, jewellery, beauty, gardening, beauty, with some other shows thrown in. All I can say is it's a good thing I actually like beauty, or it would be a big turn-off! I like the kitchen shows as well.

I thought Dawn's new man was Egyptian. Not sure it's a country I would want to move to though so she may just be visiting. After the way QVC treated her when she left, would she go back? I wouldn't but I suppose it all depends on the deal offered. I used to buy loads of QVC craft and I still do buy the Anna Griffin kits. It was Dawn that got me interested so it would be nice to see her back.

How did QVC treat her when she left? I was under the impression that Dawn left QVC of her own accord and left Q without a paddle, so to speak... but thats from what I've read and heard elsewhere.

Totally agree. When the price of gold and silver rocketed killing their jewellery shows, and their other huge earner, crafting, disappeared into oblivion then Q went big time into 'Beauty' mode, and we've been bombarded with the ****** stuff ever since !

She had quite the emotional farewell on c&c so it would be bit odd to go back yet again??

I definitely don't see her coming to QVC unless she is going to relaunch their whole crafting 'department'. I have seen Anna Griffin shows and the stuff is pretty but I don't really consider it 'real' crafting - it seems to be a lot of cut-outs and sentiments that you just stick on to the provided blanks, no creativity at all!
But it must be hard to qvc to compete with a channel which only specialises in crafts, plus there's jewellery maker, though they could try harder ;)

My favourite craft guest was Rosemary with her scrapbooking supplies and lovely examples.

I'm surprised DB has an Egyptian partner - wonder if he makes her wear the hijab when out in public ?
