I was going to ask the same thing as he seemed to be on most Saturdays when I watched but I haven't seen him for ages, I haven't seen Martin Parker for a while either. I only watch Create & Craft perhaps for an hour Sunday morning whilst having my cuppa in bed but it always seems to be Dean on.

Ideal world had a big shake up of their presenters a couple of months back and both Dave Bradford and Martin Parker are now full time presenters on Create and craft and from what I can gather on longer appear on ideal world.
Debbie Shaw who used to do all the sewing shows has left and now will only appear on line as a guest presenter.
