Costume Jewellery

Hi guys,

For those of you who don't get a chance to watch much, the Pilgrim range they're advertising for Tuesday is costume jewellery and not even on silver chain. We were previewed a piece this afternoon orangey enamelled and crystal orchid style necklace, very pretty (though not for me). At £24 I thought it quite reasonable given its intricacy but this is not what I want to see on a jewellery channel. As they have also started to introduce Dents accessories today, and the current new thin gold necklace and chain sets resembling Christmas foil deccies, trinket boxes, pens, etc. I'm seriously beginning to think it will be pots and pans soon. Goodbye Gems, hello Gemenhams.

It's been a very strange couple of hours viewing, especially with good old Fi doing her marketplace shrieking.

:lol: Argey!!! I didn't see the show. I rarely watch Gems now, I used to have it on all the time when they first started. I have bought a couple of nice diamond items recently, but first purchases for ages.

Totally off topic, is Fi expecting a little gem?? I think her orgiastic ooooooing and ahhhhhhhhhhing are hilarious!

Pilgrim is a well known Danish faux jewellery range, lots of people love it though not a fan myself.

Its widely available so who would want to pay shipping to buy from Gems?

I saw a dents jewellery roll today on gems tv, they do seem to be branching out and bringing other brands in to sell. It did seem to go for less than what you'd pay on the high street.
