I have my Christmas in November, coach firms lay these on (called turkey and tinsel holidays) with one day being Xmas eve, another Xmas day, boxing day, new years eve, with all the trimmings (Turkey, crackers, entertainment, etc).

Oh yes it's fine as I use frozen which are already partly cooked and I add the water to the gravy on the big day, just to give it that bit of extra flavour..

Ah, I remember it well, sounds just like my mum's cooking.
She was the only person I know who used to cook cauliflower in a pressure cooker for half an hour, looked perfect on the plate till you stuck your fork in it & realised it was really soup.
