I liked the look of the Bronx slip on trainer with knot detail. Ideal I thought for sightseeing.

Hmmmmmm taking delivery today and have sent them straight back. They look great on, and are attractive (bought the Sage Green) BUT they weigh a ton, and the insoles are really hard and not conducive to wearing for hours methinks. At over £100 I would have expected something infinitely more comfortable, and tbh would take up hand luggage allowance if they were packed in your carry on !!!

Maybe I'm so used to my light weight and comfy Skechers that in comparison the Bronx feel like diving boots.

I've got really funny about heavy shoes these days as well. It never used to bother me, and I lived in big old clodhoppers like Doc Martens. I'm still attracted to big shoes, but reject out of hand anything heavy.

Hope yours didn't cost a fortune to return!

I live in Skechers all year round, have their boots, shoes, sandals and flip flip flops.

That's the trouble Marina, I too have spent 12 months in Skechers, whilst awaiting a new hip and since the operation; the only footwear I've felt comfy in. But the Bronx are even heavier than normal footwear, which I was surprised at. I found the biggest bugbear the 'hard' insole, and when you withdraw your foot, the insole comes out too. Too many negatives for me to cough up over a £100.
