So glad to hear that Yorko! I think anyone that has to go through cancer is very brave, it must be so frightening.

I dont think the item £ reductions for tonights BCC products are that impressive, as it doesn't encourage people to buy, compared to some years ago, when the product was usually set at 50% off usual QVC price, which meant absolutely everything sold out. (I remember I bought a NN quilt which was usually £100, for BCC priced at £50)

As for the crown, I can imagine it would fetch for a considerable sum, great idea though!

I haven't bought anything but have donated £1,000

I do hope the event reaches over a million. £ Thats would be great

Got one already (crown that is) but for ethical reasons I stopped wearing my ermine cloak and it's so hard to dress it down....fingers crossed for a centipede TSV to do it justice.

Heavy rain distorted my Sky picture so dont know how much the Crown went for, or who it went to...... and why ! I think its only good for a window display, too expensive for Amdrams, and would be hellish to dust on the dressing table.
