anyone finding qvc really boring lately?

Having a look through the tv schedule and it all seems all much of a much...........all the same things as tsv's...........really uninspiring, with nothing jumpin out at me.

Vaguley like christmas in july purely because I love christmas so much:cheeky:

Maybe I've cured my QVC addiction more than I realise:angel:but even the things that I used to look forward to - birkenstock,yankee,kipling,make-up,jewellery- all seem to hold no appeal, with the same old stock being shown again and again

Hear hear RD, have ordered a bit of stuff of late as working again after a long time sick and needed a few treats, but during my long spell of non shopping there have been no changes and nothing new and exciting to tempt me. I did order the Shark Steam mop cos of the easy pay code and also because it has had great reviews on QVC and Lakeland too. But there is little to tempt me in the way of fun and frivolity on QVC, much more of an Amazon girl these days and they do good p and p offers.

i blame Kim &co and casual &co they just overdose us
i don't watch at all when there is a possibility of this incomprehensible nylon gear on

There is very little that wows me into a spending spree these days!-- that is good news in many ways!
I will only buy if these is a product at a competitive price / & or free P&P.
Agree there is lot repeated, saw that Genie line stuff again today ( 3rd time?), even the Honora TSV I thought was boring @ one timeI wouldn't have resisted.
Thanks to you all & your comments I think it has made me consider much more before pressing the 'add to cart'!

I haven't ordered anything in ages. I watch from time to time, but generally with the sound turned down. I've taken to watching old black and white movies that I've sky plussed. Finding QVC same old, same old.
Quite annoyed that when I managed to order the Lori Greiner mirror, which is usually sold out by the time I see it, it got 'lost' in the postal system. I received a full refund and now I am on the waitlist. I don't think I will receive it. Just puts me off. I even received the wrong item a few months back. Sometimes I think it is just easier to buy in the flesh. At least you actually get it.

whole-heartedly agree it's not as bad as IW but it's getting there not fancied anything for a while just same old same old used to watch all the time now just flick on now and again wish they would listen to us and stock new items or whole new ranges

I agree that it is getting stale and boring, but imho it has quite a bit to go to be anyway near as boring as IW.

I agree. QVC is just the same old same old at the moment. I have even taken to *gulp* watching Jeremy Kyle instead of the morning show............................things are worse than I thought!!!!

Jeremy Kyle? Eesh, I didn't think anything could be *that* bad ;)

But yes, QVC is deathly boring right now. Boring and unaffordable products and boring presentations. Goodness knows how the presenters manage to keep themselves looking interested in this stuff. Perhaps they have to lace their mugs of tea with something keep them awake. And it would seem that technology is taking over from gardening.

I'm glad it's not just me though. I was going to start a thread like this a day or two ago but wasn't sure if I was just being harsh. With so many disgruntled customers they must be feeling the pinch somewhere. My current attitude towards all things TV shopping right now could be conveyed with a single word - I think it's got two L's in it ;)

today I've had to go to M&S to buy some colleagues some leaving presents/vouchers.There was sooooooo much in there I could spend my money on.Lots of gawjus things.so far removed from qvc,and can't remember ever using the phrase Gawjus for qvc!!!!

And like its been said - to have lovely things,at not inflated prices...........and have it in the flesh so to speak.....................theres a lot to be said for that Mr QVC:dull:

at least I've got something I like on the agenda today - Tignanello bags, and that's about it! I'm suffering from a summer cold so I think it would be a very good idea to treat myself to a little something from one of the hours to cheer myself up!

Be heartened that in the run-up to Christmas (ie the next 5 months !!) there will be loads of stuff to tempt us to part with our cash - those Christmas presents for teachers/school run/students/pets/those-folk-who-drop-in-unexpectedly-on-Christmas-Day (I don't get them, do you?!!!)
