This is a decent price. Can anyone advise if they are worth purchasing? Or should I just hire one out from rug doctor?

you could purchase it on flexipay, try it out as soon as you receive it, then you have 2 weeks to try it out, if you don't like it, send it back, so all you have lost is the P&P.

Well not really, the cost of sending that lump back is going to hurt, and of course you would have to send by trackable delivery service in case it got lost.
That's one of the things that really does annoy me, "try it out for free" is not at all correct, very very disturbing when Gen and Den say how certain garments will definately fit a larger size, say 24, 26. Yeah, thanks Den, sending one of those back will be £8 at least, not so free huh when you also lose £4 to get it to you in the first place.

We have inherited light carpets. With traffic and a buggy the carpets look in need. Have taken the plunge and will thoroughly road test. Cheers all
