I have a wildlife camera video of a cat leaping several feet from a hedge onto a bird on a feeder. It caught it and ripped it apart. I always thought they played with their victims before either killing them or leaving them for dead/as owner presents.

I moved the feeders further into the garden as soon as I saw it.

As beautiful as they are, cats are brutal killers. It's how nature designed them. It's upsetting to see how they savage creatures weaker than themselves.
