Ah boo. I was hoping for a nice 400 or 600tc bed set as I’ve been looking out for one. Some of the northern nights ones they used to do were ace but they don’t seem to do stuff like that much now.

nope theyve had to move on & move with the times with it being Q's own brand having to evolve the brand into something more to keep it competitive with Qs other ranges, mind you they often bring a plain bedding set cause they done a few lately but alas they never seem to sell well cause they dont bring them back

This PUR Feather Extra Deep Featherbed from Northern Nights is made of down-like fill processed to have no quills for a softer feel and features a baffle box design that lets the feather fibres loft without shifting to provide an extra layer of comfort and support. A natural, breathable featherbed that forms to the shape of your body as you sleep, let this fantastic design from Northern Nights cradle you in luxurious comfort.
Soft and supportive - the top layer of this featherbed is filled with "downey fibres", which are created by removing the quill to leave soft down-like fibres. This filling sits in the upper layer of the featherbed closest to your body, and limits the odour that is usually emitted from keratin in quills. The top side of the featherbed has smaller baffle boxes, while the bottom side has larger baffle boxes and is filled with micro-feathers for added comfort.
Less disturbance - down feather fills are prone to making a rustling sound when you move that can disturb your sleep, but without the quills to rub together this clever design helps make it quieter when you change positions.
Transform your bed - used as a topper this featherbed will add loft and exceptional comfort to your sleep space, providing a soft, cushioned base to lie on - perfect if your current mattress isn't giving you enough support or comfort.
  • Small baffle boxes - upper layer; large baffle boxes - lower layer
  • Outer: 100% cotton, lining: 100% polyester; filling 100% feather

Hope they've got some pillows as NN are the best ones I've ever bought and need replacing.

I’ve got a pair of NN V-pillows which I bought maybe 12 years ago and they are properly amazing!

They weren’t cheap but they’re unlike any V pillow ever seen before or since and are big, soft but full/supportive and with a huge gusset in the V bit which makes them “3D” in shape?

They came with high thread count cotton covers which zip off to wash (had to get my SIL to copy the pattern and make spares for them!)

I couldn’t live without them with my health and would have bought more for me and family if they hadn’t discontinued them not too long after I bought mine!

They used to do really good regular pillows too and I’ve got duvet 100% down duvets of theirs and a featherbed..

But not touched them for years as they’ve gone WAY downhill!

After spouting on for years about how “fill power” - and NOT tog ratings! - was what mattered they did a total U-turn and started selling (rubbish) tog-rated duvets!

As for these featherbeds yet another example of the down slide in quality!
Just read the reviews!

They used to be on the time too, with Suzie (spelling?) and the more down to earth BA alternating.

Sigh!

Not sure I know what you mean by having to move with the times and evolve the brand etc?
