A big thank you to everyone who left such helpful comments about what might be suitable for me. I think I will bide my time and wait for a good price on the dual version of the Babyliss that I have seen on various sites. The length of my hair can vary quite a bit between Summer and Winter, depending on how much hair I want around my neck especially in a hot summer so I think having the versatility of different barrel sizes would be better for me.

Thanks for asking this, Pandora, and thanks for your help, everyone - it's made me do my research on amazon for a bigger version and their prices are better, as ever.

If this was dual barrelled with 42 mm/32 mm id have bought it as it's just what I need for my chin length bob and fringe. I have the 42 mm and love it. Couldn't get it from QVC though as it was permanently out of stock.

I'll stick to my brush and normal dryer for the fringe.

Oh, another thing. I wish it was dual voltage as I couldn't take it to the USA this year
