Are you supposed to use them to keep people from looking into your home and help keep heat in, or wrap yourself up in them to bathe and/or sleep?

I think you have to hang them up in the bathroom, then transfer them to the bedroom when you've finished bathing. Not sure what to do if shared 'facilities' and one is bathing whilst the other is retiring in the bedroom - perhaps that's why they provide a pair so you can have one in the bathroom & one in the bedroom ? (Sorry, lack of sleep, madness setting in...)
