I bought mine from the Ideal Home Show about 10 years ago and they were definitely pronouncing it as Bay-mix.

Also, way back at the beginning of info-mercials in the late 90s (whilst only limited ads were shown) it was pronounced Bay-mix then too.

Even if it is pronounced baymix in Switzerland, if it is spelt Bamix then we should pronounce it in accordance with English rules of pronunciation, in the same way that we say Paris, not Paree.
