Thought that I would add my experience of Auto Advance.

I had a £1000 loan from Auto Advance, no need for me to go into circumstances this is not an X Factor Audition. Anyway was all OK then one month the car had a brake issue, I wanted to get it repaired so I asked Auto Advance if they would allow me either to reduce my payment for one month or a payment holiday, they refused both. So I fell behind with my payments and eventually rather than get into more debt asked them to come and collect the car, OK maybe hot headed but thats me.

The car was a 2005 Renauat Scenic Diamanique, I even left the MP3/CD Player and Parrot Handsfree Kit, I thought I only borrowed £900.00 so I thought when they sold the car it would easily pay what I owed and maybe some back to me WRONG, they sold the car for £225.00 and still owe them £1140.42.

TOTALLY 100% my fault, I should have read the contract in full.

We all have to do daft things to make end meets but PLEASE avoid this company.

Talk about loan sharks, well done for exposing their doggy practices and warning us all about how important it is to read the small print of any financial agreements we might take out whatever reason.
How they can sleep at night is beyond me they must be doing this to dozens of people from every walk of life every week.
Have you thought about going to talk to either or even both trading standards or CAB ?
They might step in and help you come to a reasonable repayment program that won't leave you to short of money for all of your other needs.
Also where are they selling off the cars so cheaply ?
That can't be right on its own.
Good luck and don't let them drag you down you are worth more than that.
