They say you can do this that and the other with it, such as play music, watch films etc, but never mention that you have to PAY for subscriptions.
And also, the 2 "free trials" are just a way of hooking you in, in the hope you'll forget to cancel, then you don't cancel in time, and suddenly get billed £100 for one and £5 every month for the other.

if you dont activate the trials then you wont be charged as far as i can tell

I agree, but unless you subscribe to Prime or Netfilx (for example) you won't be able to do much anyway.
