Oh, how awful. I dread that sort of thing. No wonder moving home is considered one of the most stressful life events. I started half-heartedly looking at houses for sale online a few years ago. Even before I’ve committed, I have occasional panics!

Do Rightmove have an option to filter your search by “proximity to Aldi”? I must check.

Cheers, I’ll have to try that. I’ve heard of it but never smelt it and I tend to like unisex perfumes. I don’t know why they (Daily Mail) have to mention the “celebs” that wear it (or, more likely, just say they do for the freebies and endorsement money). I couldn’t care less that someone I’ve seen on the telly in something, or whose song I’ve heard, likes a particular thing. In fact, it’s more likely to put me off since so many “celebs” irritate me to death.

Turns out the dopey writer, who must be about 12, meant Paul Mescal (an actor I only know from the series Normal People). You’ve got to be obsessed with someone to want to actually smell like them. Someone should warn the poor bloke!

I just realised the perfumes were in the weekly Aldi leaflet but I missed them because they are on a page with candles and diffusers so I assumed they were room sprays.

Did anyone go to Aldi yesterday and check out the Specialbuys? I did but I went late, not long before they closed, which was daft of me. I only really wanted to check out the perfumes, and I’m not even sure I was going to buy. If any had been opened (much as I hate when people open products others could have bought), I could at least have smelt them. Sadly, although they had quite a bit of the HA5+ skincare range and a fair few of the makeup and hair products (not many of some left, though), the one small display box of perfumes was empty.

I went today looking for wine offersand bought the Black Intense Perfume and I love it

I would have loved to try that - it was the one I was most interested in the sound of. I wonder if they’ll get more in here. Did they have more bottles of one than another at your store?

Yes lots of bottles I may go back for the Sandalwood really surprised how long lasting it is, I also bought the Lip oil not sure if that’s new though.

The lip oil (Charlotte Tilbury Magic Oil dupe if I got the right one) has been around before - I recognised it from my list last September.

For anyone interested, these are the perfumes (as also mentioned in the Mail article Marina posted a link to last week):
