Oh dear, I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders now - everyone buying something I recommended! I’ll blame rubia if this all goes pear-shaped!

Just so you know, this is what you’re looking for and what the diffuser inside looks like.

(bit dark, sorry)

It’s clearly a copy of the Rituals “Savage Garden”, despite the colour (see white Rituals one below) although I haven’t smelt that so can’t say if the fragrance is similar or not. I did read that a Rituals diffuser in a different shaped dark green bottle, called “The Ritual of Jing”, smells more like Lidl’s Green Garden.

Lidl also do diffusers in that style called Dark Oud (Rituals “Black Oudh”) and Rich Amber (Rituals “Precious Amber”). You can sniff the matching candles in Lidl if you want an idea of the smell before you buy. I’ve got all three but this Green Garden is lasting so well, I don’t know when I’ll be getting the others out! There’s a TK Maxx one in the bathroom which is running out so maybe I’ll be replacing that next month.

Right, that’s enough diffuser chat. Just don’t blame me, that’s all.

Thanks, know what I am hunting now.

May well have to as you say sniff the candles and see if the others appeal to me also.

Ok thanks for that, blaming me you're so very kind. Im sure everyone will like it if not we'll what can I say? as you so eloquently put it blame me!!!

I'm very impressed with this diffuser, I can say its one of the best I've had however, I won't be broadcasting this as everyone, will want it then you and I will have none.
What does it smell like please? How much is it?
Is it very strong?

Don't diffusers sit there & attract dust?

Thanks x

It is described on the product as freesia, sandalwood and dry amber. I gave one to my friend who has it in her bathroom and it does suit that as it’s a bit soap-smelling. You could do as I was saying and smell the matching candle in the shop for an idea, though the candle is weaker (that’s cold wax, obviously, but actually, I lit mine the other night and it didn’t give off a lot of scent burning either).

It’s a slim container and there’s only a tiny bit of horizontal surface for dust to gather on so I shouldn’t worry about that.

I'm happy you replied to this Andi as I'm not good at describing anything. What I will say is it's really nice it's not overpowering but subtle it kinda wafts across the room. My husband commented on how nice it was! After I was picked up off the floor( he never comments about anything) he just brought a couple more today for me.

Your husband is a gem! I can see why men would like it, though. Despite the freesia, it’s not over-feminine/floral. The sandalwood is probably what makes me think of soap (nice, expensives soap, of course!). The wafts of fragrance art not cloying or overpowering, no, but they are noticeable (as I’m sick of diffusers which might look nice but just being decorative doesn’t cut it when you want to scent a space.)

What can I say? My husband's a gem! Let's not get carried away! He is good, especially days like today when I'm not good and can't get out of bed, he leaves me alone which is what I like, has a few hours away and sometimes comes back bearing gifts. Tomorrow I will be fine it's just the way it plays out! Just realised what I like about, it's the soapy smell, as you say expensive of course !
