I shall be checking one of our Aldi's today. The perfumes at ÂŁ9.99 that feels like an increase in their usual pricing.
Yes, I thought that, although it started last year, I think. The Victoria Beckham dupes were £9.99, too. Some of the skincare is creeping up in price as well. You can’t complain about a face cream at under a tenner if it has all the same qualities (and produces similar results) as one for £70/£80 or even £700/£800 in the case of the La Mer and La Prairie ones they have compared their ranges to. But it’s a bit mean if Aldi are asking more, not necessarily because the ingredients are more expensive but because the original has a higher retail price so they can get away with it. Then again, everything is going up everywhere so it’s going to happen.

They had the perfumes in my Aldi, I wasn't impressed, too sweet for my liking and this time with plastic spay pump. The new skincare - I only saw the night cream and the rest was missing. I bought the luminous foundation and the leave in hair conditioner in the orrange bottle, that was on special offer last summer. I then went to Boots to the 17. stand and the prices were very similar (cosmetics), and I bought some stick shadows, the ones that stay on all day, very nice.
