At eleven o'clock they were in the middle of an auction and wishing to observe it myself I turned over to BBC1 when the two minutes silence had finished I turned back and they were showing The Jewellery Channel logo with 'In rememberance' on it, they resumed transmission about a minute later - perhaps the studio clock is a little slow !

Well TJC got the timing of the 2 minute silence correct today and suspended the auctions. However, it was a shame that Screeching Stacey called it Remembrace Day instead of Remembrance Sunday. Maybe I'm being pedantic but someone please drum it into her silly childish head that RD is acknowledged on the 11th hour on 11th day of the 11th month - RS is the second Sunday in November (the nearest Sunday to RD), not too difficult to grasp even for her.
