I would want a name I trusted for that sort of money - like a new Tag but with diamonds. I'm not being snobby, I just don't think I would want to pay £3k for a watch that I didn't know had a decent 'pedigree' if you know what I mean i.e. it's workings would all remain intact for many years to come?

I agree Aragorn, for that sort of money, id want a Cartier Watch :cheeky: (thats on my Lottery List, lol)

Something nice - I quite agree. Cartier would do the job as well - something to admire every time you look at it. Never mind these QVC Precious Time things which I'm sure are lovely but £3k is somewhat steep isn't it?

Ahhh thanks.. But she may look cute, in reality though, a real moo! Haha.. I love rabbits (have lots of Steiff rabbits which are beautiful).. Frodo is gorgeous..is he a 'house rabbit'.. I love being able to have a little pic on here now :47:

what planet are they on? I suppose there must be a market for it as they wouldn't give it air time, if I had that sort of money to spend on a watch I'd be trawling all the posh jewellery shops and really enjoying the experience. It's hardly going to be an impulse buy made while channel hopping unless you are Elton John

That price is ridiculous, the only worth is the value of the gold, the diamonds won't be worth much. If you're going to spend that kind of money you'd be much better off buying a Rolex, Cartier, etc. as they have a pretty good re-sale value.

If I was spending over 3K on a watch I would also want a 'name', tho' to be fair you would not get a Cartier or Rolex with an 18ct gold case and bracelet with diamond accents for anything like 3K :hi:

From past experience there is very little resale value in gold and jewellery. You'll be lucky to get a bit back from the gold weight. It's not an investment and not worth the money.

It doesn't even look very nice. I'd want a watch that *looks* like I spent £3k on it!!! I have a "supermarket brand" watch that looks very much like this and cost me the princely sum of £7! (Note the lack of a "K" there!)

Do people with this sort of money to throw about watch QVC and need easy pay?
