Strike while the iron's hot! Personally I'll stick with my "Steamworks" value iron from Argos. Cost about £8 and has a stainless steel soleplate. Does the job just fine.

Daily Mail road tested this a few months ago along with other 'normal' irons. For it's money it didn't score that well, something like 3/5. For that price I'd want it to do the washing and hang the clothes up afterwards.

For me for that price it'd have to sort out the dirty washing into delicates, whites and non-whites, do the washing, dry it, fold it, iron it and put it back into my wardrobe.

A price like this insults viewers' intelligence.

Oh I dunno, I've got a Miele washer/dryer machine with a 10 year guarantee, and its still the best machine I've ever had.

Fair enough brissles i have a Miele vacuum cleaner i have had for at least 10 years and it is still excellent and it cost a lot the time but some things really are way over the top for what they do.
