    Massive mark downs on Decleor

I agree. The night balm pots were only 15g. No matter how sparingly I used them, they never lasted me as long as was claimed either. Lovely to use though. I used to buy the 100g salon size pots from Ebay & Amazon when they were a good price. Thankfully I've still got a couple of them unused. I...

    Massive mark downs on Decleor

I've just had a look for prolagene gel and this is the cheapest I've seen online by quite a lot. Great find Marina. I have a 400ml that came with a TSV that I opened a few months back. I didn't know what I would use it for, so it's just been sat there on the shelf. Having read everyone's posts...

    Massive mark downs on Decleor

A friend wanted to order the 15ml tubes of Decleor's Rosy White Magnolia/ Magnolia Blanc cream for £1 each yesterday evening & noticed that the price has increased to £2.99 on both the Direct Cosmetics & Cosmetify websites. So unfortunately it looks like the £1 per tube for this was a limited...

    Liz Earle Advent Calendar

Depends on what's in it but personally I don't think that's a particularly great buy for a beauty & skincare accent calendar anyway. I bought 2 from Look Fantastic last year & they were incredible value. Filled with great quality items too. It was more than worth the price for the Grande Lash...

Gemporia - ASA 'final warning' - AT LAST!

Yes, that is exactly how I feel LV. I did a comprehensive & accurate complaint. I thought it deserved no less, the sales pitch imo was that bad & misleading. It took me hours to do. I waited ages for a reply, only to be told that ASA will "advise them". I think it's an absolute joke in which...

    Massive mark downs on Decleor

If like me you were gutted when QVC stopped selling Decleor, then Decleor stopped selling in the UK completely, I think like me you'll enjoy this. Direct Cosmetics & Cosmetify are currently selling lots of Decleor at huge discounts. Amazon have got some discounted Decleor products currently...

Gemporia - ASA 'final warning' - AT LAST!

As some people here know I reported them to The ASA for the imo highly misleading way Adina sold a dyed blue agate necklace. It was on pre-order, so her sales pitch for it continued off & on for literally hours before it went to air in a full presentation. I submitted a very thorough report to...

    Cringefest on at the moment

Things that make ya go hmm... Readily quotes people on the forum in multiples like this on 1 Post. How many newbies do that on the same day they joined I wonder? Has followed comments here, presumably only/mainly the Gemporia ones, for 10 months but only commented today. Starts with a potty...

    Cringefest on at the moment

I agree, Kati's false, dayglo, vivid neon like pink nails looked gross yesterday. To make it worse, after I'd been watching for a few minutes she unleashed them & seemed to get them into shot at every opportunity. They were ridiculously long & had clearly visible growth gaps at the top, Her...

    Cringefest on at the moment

Just switched on now. I think Kati's trying to go all Kim Kardashian, the classic earlier years? Tightly swept back dark hair. Bit of cleavage. Dark fake tan, looks good on her though I think. & Neutral yet darker make-up that looks okay but might look better if it was lightened up just a...

    More misleading?

I wish I could make my Smokey Quartz lighter. Alas TMWNN informed us that that once it's darkened to deep brown, some verging on brown/black it's not possible. What a shame. I've got a large smokey quartz pendant. I love it, it's just that being a large stone it's very dark. I'd have loved it...

    More misleading?

You have a beautiful collection there Andy. I've got a nice Amethyst half geode, an Ammonite & a few pieces of Labradorite etc but nothing on that scale. Yours look absolutely stunning.

Gemporia warned yet again by the ASA...........

I think we've all bought stuff with hindsight we wouldn't have done. I know I have & I could kick myself for it. So you're certainly not alone in that Rubia. Far, far from it.

What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

Our posts crossed. I was right about that Gemporia "cough" "Amhara Opal". I can't quite believe what saw on your link. Absolutely terrible & costing that much ?! And any opal newbies who bought/buy that, will think that's what opals look like in real life. What a great shame. I bought this from...

What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

Oooh I don't think I've watched him. Thanks for the heads up. I've watched an Australian guy cut & shape opals & that was fascinating.

What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

No. That wasn't the opal variety I bought. Unless I'm mistaken I think that one looks like it's been moulded & held together with clear resin? Or filled? Hence it looks relatively dull? Just seen that one's £65.99 Good grief! Granted it may get reduced on air but wow, that much online for that...

What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

I thought I was wise back then to their pretendy stone names. So I'd have been sceptical of opal sold with a fancy new name I'd never heard of before. Oh my did I have a lot to learn lol.

What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

I'm not sure. It was a fair few years ago now. I just remember them going on about how it was naturally blue. It might have been, but the slithers were so tiny & stuck in a baby blue colour resin, it was impossible to tell. It definitely wasn't sold as doublet or triplet or called "crystal opal".

What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

Oh no Ant it wasn't sold as mosaic opal. I saw some of that a while before I bought the "blue opal" I sent back. To be honest the mossic opal looked nice. If I remember correctly, some of it was in ancient Egyptian/ Cleopatra style? I thought expensive for what it was, but it did look...

Gemporia warned yet again by the ASA...........

I think that a lot of their sales tactics that I've seen are absolutely despicable. I dread to think how many people have bought from them, I've no doubt some have spent a considerable amount of what they have, believing their presenters & oblivious to what they've actually bought. I'll let...
