I have thick wavy hair and I love my GHD's - poker straight hair with one pass and it lasts until I next wash my hair. I've not had any other brand to make a comparison but I can say how good I think the GHD straighteners are :)

They do fall apart but I still think they are excellent for jobs like removing marks from walls or clearing stains out of sinks. I didn't get the recent TSV but bought a microfibre mop from QVC in December after my flash mop fell apart and so far I am really impressed - better than the It Works...

I've found QVC boring for a while now - I am also sick of being told about their tremendous buying power when 99.9% of the items they sell can be bought cheaper elsewhere.

That's a real shame, I was lucky enough to meet Lee at the NYNY event in 2007 and he was as genuinely lovely and enthusiastic in person as he was on QVC. He happily talked to everybody that approached him (and believe me there were other guests who were not as pleasant!).

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - fabulous product. I find it too greasy to use during the day but apply it to my hands before bed in a nice thick layer and my hands are baby soft and smell lovely come morning. I've never found a better handcream and quite economical to as a big tube lasts...
