    Sea Salt

I have a Seasalt shop locally and always have a look around.I only buy the tee shirts which are lovely quality and have one raincoat. The dresses / tunics are not my style the knitwear is very nice but in general the prices are a bit high for what they are.I recently bought a bag for a friend’s...

She certainly knew what she was doing! But everything I see is bog standard ( yawn) and the prices ?just rediculous .She is talking as though she was a long established and respected design/ fashion manufacturing specialist, pointing out the ‘branding’.Is that HER name/ initials? The Trench looks...

    Old times

I will not be getting the Fuel payment now but I cannot say it will be a problem.I never considered myself as being over careful with spending. However I must have done something right, worked & paid into a work pension, I also get my State Pension and managed to pay off my mortgage when I...

    Hand Cream Pilling

I have never had any problems with LE hand cream in fact it is one of my favourites as I find it sinks in and is not sticky. However I have found differences with C&P when they are different scents. Some seem thicker and not as smooth a consistency.Perhaps the change in added ingredients results...

    Old times

I watched the B&W show & ordered the ‘pearl’ necklace. It took me back years ago when the B&W shows were unmissable for something to wear at Christmas.Simon is getting on & I am too, but although 90% of what they show is not for me these days that feeling of getting something has not gone.I was...

    Elemis big deal

I have noticed how often QVC offer dual packs of a product.OK if you have tried and like something and want to stock up if the price is right.I would rather pay the price for one, however second thought I would probably still be paying £3:95 p&p.No thanks!

Is it just me again being too ‘non trusting’ ? a great idea to carry things on your back & leave yourself hands free but I would be thinking here is an invitation to ‘help yourself to my belongings’?

I use Kiplings when I go away because they are lightweight & easy to pack.I do have to remember where things are, which pocket to save myself unzipping constantly!I get them reduced from the Kipling website but I am covered for every eventuality so don’t need anymore.

    Whatever happened to...?

It took me a long time to get into Birkenstocks & have a couple of pairs which I wear all the time around the house.QVC used to have a great selection, now when you can find them the range is much reduced and the prices have rocketed, and I mean rocketed.

That is not unusual, QVC’s shots of the ‘after’ looks are a lot worse than the ‘before’ it is their top rule in presentation and marketing.

    One size fits all

Yes a parachute then when you land a tent! We must have multi uses these days.

Does it double as a tent?

    QVC sex talk 😬

How many times are Fathers never in the picture? It always amazes me when couples will have a child but when it comes to getting married, oh No that is a step too far in commitment.A marriage can be dissolved and where there are no children there may be no further contact

    Jilly Halliday

That is really awful a huge mistake even by Jilly’s standards. She must have to wear some outfits if they are a TSV or from a range she is presenting but she can quite often look a ‘sight for sore eyes’.

I travel on my own now, well in an organised group with a tour manager.I always make friends with others but can also ‘do my own thing’.I did go on a trip which included someone I knew previously.Making arrangements to meet up, some ‘crossed lines’ I decided no more! The last tour I went on I was...

No sitting on the suitcase at midnight to close it these days packing takes place days earlier. No travel irons or steamers either, if clothes are creased they stay creased.

It is just a longer flight than I have undertaken for some time (around 15 hours) & am looking at anything that can prepare me.I can get swollen ankles, did on a long coach trip last year, but no more than probably most would do.At least you can more around a bit more on a plane.
