    Seasalt coming to Q

Went to lunch with a friend recently and she had on a lovely striped jersey cocoon dress in the perfect colour palette for her. I complimented her on it, she really did look fabulous, and she told me it was from Navabi. Apparently she buys a lot of their stuff.

Not keen, they look a bit clumpy. I'd rather have a heel strap too. Giving them a miss, although I do like the Vionic footbed, they are very comfortable and supportive if you have any 'arch' troubles.

Not a very exciting offering, is it?

Thomson & Morgan, too good to be true!

It’s very cheap CC, sounds like a bargain. My new favourite is Hayloft for plants though. They’re not the cheapest but their plants and service are top notch, and their website is pure horticultural porn!

Aldi Avenue Jeggings (but more like jeans)

It's a common response Marina! Most people switch off as soon as you say the word 'fast'. 'Oh, I could never do that!'. And others come up with all kinds of starvation theories as to why it's not good for you. Actually, fasting has been practised for thousands of years, as a healing...

Aldi Avenue Jeggings (but more like jeans)

Dr Mosley recommends eating twice a day within a 6 hour window, and calorie reduction. Dr Fung doesn’t recommend calorie reduction because it slows down the metabolism. Instead, he recommends fasting for extended periods of time, to normalise insulin levels. Fasting, in contrast to reducing...

Thank you Marina. No, the book I am using is The Obesity Code by Jason Fung, it is excellent. Very informative and a very easy read - I got the kindle version. I am following the principles outlined in this book, doing Intermmittent Fasting on alternate days, under the supervision of my GP...

Aldi Avenue Jeggings (but more like jeans)

Very tempted to try the Jeggings, but I have lost 2 stone since January and have another 2.5 to lose, so I don't really want to buy any more stuff until I have a better idea what size my body is going to settle at! I'm currently rocking a lovely pair of size 16 Per Una jeans, which fit...

I find this a lot with ready to wear clothing, it's the reason I make so many of my own clothes. ETA I actually quite like the blue print one, but no poly for me, thanks!

    Decluttering!

Playing Devil’s advocate... Surely a person only needs one ‘onesie’? Ok, maybe two, if you wear one every day. How many have you got? And stuffed toys, can you donate them to a young person? No adult needs a box of stuffed toys under their bed! Well done on progress so far!

    Ruth Langsford TSV 16/2/19

I went to Asda yesterday in search of jeans, as I have lost a bit of weight and needed some a little smaller. They didn't have much in my size - sadly, I'm not yet in the size 8, of which they had an abundance! I got two pairs of Jeggings and two pairs of 'denim look' leggings for £41, all fit...

    Australian Bodycare TSV 12/02/19

interpretation of fragrance is so personal though, isn't it? What smells of lemongrass to one person might smell of sherbert lemons to another. For example, I can't smell Freesias, never have been able to. Mr L thinks this is hilarious, and keeps buying them for me and telling me they smell...

TSV arrived yesterday - citrus option - to me, it smells like Sherbet Lemon sweets! I quite like it, but may tire of it quickly. The wipes, well no wonder they dry out in no time, mine aren’t even sealed properly, the sticky plastic bit that’s supposed to reseal the pack has been put on ‘skew...

    Decluttering!

2 more bags filled and off to charity tomorrow! So good when they leave you a bag to fill and come back for it. I got my neighbour's bag as well, because she has nothing to donate.
