The 3 items I bought with free PP yesterday all now have £3-95 PP, so that's a saving of £11-85, virtually the cost of the items (£12). And they were all items I had wanted before, but hadn't bought because of the PP.

Thanks for the info, but that is ridiculous too! Pay less for a new item than a 2nd hand returned item in who knows what condition, and probably no box. I don't suppose they even wash the 2nd hand sheets either. But did you drink 99% of them before you finally decided you didn't like cocktails?

A bit late for me - - - I just bought a torch eleswhere! They have free PP over £49, but mine was a lot less than this, but I won a £5 voucher on a lucky wheel they have, which covered the PP.

My shirt, which I think was cotton, had been machine washed so was very creased. I think the Tefal would get new creases out of something that had been ironed then crumpled, in fact, I think that was what they did for the QVC demo.

And in th meantime, older pensioners lost their free TV licences, most of them will lose the winter fuel payment, and now there is talk about the free bus pass as well.

I spent about 15 minutes steaming a shirt, used 3 refills of water, and the creases were almost as bad as before I started. It would have been quicker to iron it - - and it still needed ironing.
