I’ve averaged 2lbs a week and have no intention of going back to my “naughty” ways. Chocolate, sweets, cakes, biscuits and crisps are things of the past and I don’t miss any of them. The bonus is that I feel healthier. The only drawback, although it’s been quite fun, is the fact that I’ve had to...
I now always cook from scratch because I’ve changed to a healthy diet. 3 pounds to go and I’ll have lost 4 stone since February so that shows how much rubbish I was eating before. 😳 I blame bad habits stemming from lockdown. 😉
I haven’t used my oven for two years and now only use the hob, the...
I’m glad you’ve got it sorted and that I had understood. 😉 As you’ve cancelled the order, the amount you thought you’d paid will just disappear out of your account and your money will be safe. 👍
I’m probably misunderstanding completely. 😳
Has it physically left your account? It might show as being taken when you check your balance, but it will be pending even if it doesn’t say it is. If they have actually taken the money out then that’s the first time I’ve heard of QVC doing it before...
I usually use an iPad, rather than my computer, but if I type “clearance” into the QVC search bar the clearance items are shown.
Also, when you log into the QVC site, there’s a drop down menu feature at the top on the left hand side. Scroll down to the bottom and clearance is there.
The nail and cuticle serum is brilliant and the nail strengthening treatment seems pretty good as well although I probably didn’t need to buy it as my nails are pretty strong anyway, but I wanted to see what I thought of it. I’ll probably repurchase it at a later date because it does protect the...
It might depend on what your bank shows in your account. One of my banks, the Nationwide, always shows which payments are pending after an order is made. It also sometimes shows “tomorrow” when a payment is due to leave my account. I’ve got two Amazon orders on their way, one today and one...
QVC took the money when I ordered something, but I then cancelled it. The money was showing as pending in my account but the pending note disappeared about 10 days later and no money was taken. It’s happened a couple of times but I ignore it now if I’ve cancelled an order.
The money for orders...
I stopped buying beauty TSVs ages ago because I’d not use 75% of the items in them. If I’m interested in a product in the TSV then I buy that single item elsewhere which ends up being a lot cheaper than buying the TSV and not using the other products.
I’d rather it had been a pre-lit cloche so that you could just add your own items, like flowers etc, that cover all the seasons. Needless to say, I won’t be buying this TSV.
I don’t bother with a tree now because I go to the family for Christmas and they have one. When we did have a tree, the cat eventually got bored with pinging the ornaments all over the place and being told “no” continuously and fortunately she wasn’t bothered about climbing up it.
However, I...
I bought the original Clickfree, years ago, to back up my computer. I’ve got something similar to the TSV to back up my phone and iPad, so I don’t need a Clickfree.
That’s doubtful because the cleansing balm is the supersize of the month (I think) so we’ll probably have that rammed down our throats on most days until the end of 30th November.
I like Charlotte and Sam because they go into detail about the things that they are presenting. I no longer buy clothes from QVC, although I do sometimes have those shows on in the background, and both of those are good at what they do.
I never had any problem with IW. I even received the goods that I’d ordered on the day that they “closed.”
I haven’t ordered anything from them now or TJC though and probably never will.
