Totally agree - I totally support HFH but not in this way! Find it a bit offensive touting for votes, to be honest.

I have a serious lifelong problem in one foot and the Podiatrist recommended Birkis - they're the only thing I wear in summer and wear the slippers in the house in winter. Have to say they're the best thing I've ever worn and the only way I manage the pain in my foot. Pauline x

I've not heard anything about a national mother/daughter event, but there again, wouldn't be interested, any more than I am interested in JR and her daughter and quite frankly, the increasing nepotism of JR is getting right on me nerves - the reason I didn't watch on Sunday. P xx

There's no wonder the menfolk get p....ed off of QVC programming. My OH is seriously into his DIY yet there's only one hour (maybe 2 if you're lucky) of DIY in a week. Yet we get THREE WHOLE DAYS of female stuff, plus two beauty days last month fashion days, craft days etc etc. Personally...

JRs daughter works behind the scenes doing something with the texts that come in. I've heard Julia say what a "wonderful job" she's doing - wonder if she would have got the job without her mother's interference (silly question) :giggle:

I understand that Julia was reprimanded for the comment and told to apologise. The apology was NOT sincere and implied that people were making more of it than they should. I think the wording was "let's not take ourselves too seriously eh?" Let's put the boot on the other foot shall we. A...

And ... let's not forget that Julia is being paid an excellent salary to represent QVC on screen. Is this really the image that QVC want to promote? Sorry to those who like JR, but I feel the self important image has to go - at the end of the day she is part of a team but you'd never know it.
