    Am I alone?

OMG, I am so pleased to read this thread, like others I thought it was me in semi-rural, clog-wearing, whippet friendly :cheeky::cheeky: ooop North Leeds who didn't have the supposed "southern QVC lifestyle! We do meet up with friends for an Xmas do at someone's house but they'd be stunned and...

What qvc programme can you just not be bothered with? (poor grammar - excuse)

I'll second the comment about a Dunelm channel Just bought a set of lovely white flannel sheets from them (flat, fitted + 2 huge pillow cases) for less than half the price of Q, and didn't feel the need to stroke them in the shop either :cheeky:

QVC Beauty Channel - What is the Point...?

Also, what the programme guide says is showing (eg: Elemis) is never the same as what is actually showing!

Have you received the Pompoos Wrap Dress TSV and what do you think of it?

Well, it arrived today and I'm afraid it'll be going back. The quality is good although it was very creased when I took it out. Thing is, it's far to long for me and doesn't do my figure any favours at all. Ah well, all the feedback comments indicate everyone else seems to like it.

Have you received the Pompoos Wrap Dress TSV and what do you think of it?

Still waiting for mine **drums fingers on table impatiently**. I'm 5'3 and could probably be described as curvy, so it'll be an interesting challenge to see how it makes me look :cheeky:

    Cashmasoft TSV

The pretty model Catherine was modelling the TSV with her Mum, a reasonably normal sized lady (not stick thin, not the Michelin Man). JR knew her from yonks ago and asked her what size she was, to be told "16". "Oh, so you're wearing the XL then?" was her response. Don't know how Catherine's...

    Cashmasoft TSV

I have to admit I've got a couple of the M&S sweaters in their version of this fabric. I find them fine for everyday wear, not too warm and they wash up well and can be tumble dried. A lot cheaper than the TSV as well, and nicer colours!

    Pompoos fashion TSV 24/8/11

Gone for the black, and went up a size as suggested. I'll keep you posted, although it might be a little low at the front - I noticed JR was wearing a camisole although the model wasn't.

    OMG Ricarda M skincare

I see this afternoon they've brough in a new "normal" presenter (from IW in the US) to front this stuff. Whatever were IW thinking, this person is not a good advert for a skincare range.

It's called "colour blocking", and according to Glen is definitely on trend at the moment :giggle:

    Butler & Wilson

Have to admit the skull and crossbones and huge great glass shiny stuff just isn't my cup of tea. I do think the little key rings of cats, dogs and bunnies are quite cute though - although very expensive. There's a shop in one of the Leeds Arcades that actually sells B&W so you can see it for...

    Ronni TSV - This Evening

I saw Joy in the TSV and didn't think it suited her at all. The trouble is the stylists stick the models in colours that don't suit them, so they don't do the outfits any favours at all. I think they've been putting one of the models (Beulah I think she's called?) in stuff that's just the...

    Who DO we like then??!

Kathy T and Debbie G, I find them the most natural and least hard sell. Not particularly keen on many of the blokes but reckon Dale is the best. Clare irritates me and Debbie F is too pushy and goes for the hard sell.

Ban Basso - we can but try!

Irrespective about any personal feelings relating to fur, meat eating or wearing leather shoes - couldn't we just get him banned anyway because he's gross, arrogant, annoying and patronising? :bandit:

    Jf and Tova

Has anyone else tried her so called "wonderful" scent? I succumbed to the sales patter one time and bought some of the Tova Signature plus the Elixir. There was absolutely no smell to it whatsoever. I even tried spraying it on pillows to see if it lasted - it didn't. They were heavy to...
