Once again, King's Realm have come up trumps. We had the three bird roast for Christmas dinner today and it was out of this world, some of the best meat I have ever tasted.
I know it's pricey, but for special occasions I would buy this meat time and again!
We had the beef from the TSV tonight as we had guests round. I didn't tell anyone where the meat came from and all present commented how nice it was, with two people saying it was the best roast beef they have ever had.
It really was beautiful, so we are very pleased with this order so far!
TSV arrived here today today. I have to say it looks very good, well packed, and still completely frozen.
Looking forward to trying this over the festive period.
QVC have responded. They say there is no problem with the Kings Realm range and this is a range they will continue to sell. However, there is no new stock available before Christmas and so the products have been removed from the website until such time stock is available.
Any orders already...
I ordered the Chocolatiers Choice at £27.16 with £3.95 postage, a total of £31.11.
To order the 4 items directly from Thorntons would be £33.48 plus whatever they charge for postage, so not all of the collections were overpriced.
Refund of delivery charges on unwanted items.
This is interesting
Isn't this what QVC do, refund the cost of the item but not the initial delivery charge if it is returned simply because someone doesn't like it. They have certainly done that to me in the past.
Seems that this is illegal.
Well in actual fact, one of the definitions for translucent at dictionary.reference.com is:
3. clear; transparent:
So seems she might not be wrong after all.
However, they did keep banging on about 'Imagine playing this on launch day' etc. Even thpugh the descritpion said 'on or after launch day' the way they sold it verbally could easily lead people to expect it on the day of launch.
Glad you are getting yours today but that's still 3 days after...
Yep, definitely open 24 hours a day.
Reminds me of the time I phoned Lakeland at 3.30am trying to find out what time the office opened and they answered the phone. They have people on their lines 24 hours a day as well.
