Beauty Day - What Have You Bought?

I found the caulk really dry to apply, am sure that under the hot QVC studio lights products soften slightly and are much easier to apply. I use amazing cosmetics 223 734 http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.223734/walk.yah.UKHB-U352 - which is fab and gives great...

    YBF Beauty TSV 8/11/08

I like the Models Prefer eyeshadows and bought a YBF make up pallet on the launch of the collection. I really like it but I've noticed an odd smell from the lip glosses, so whilst my lips might look kissable they probably don't smell like it :11:

    Spackle

I like Spackle and it's fab if you pop it in the fridge and then apply (if you suffer from hot cheeks). I don't always use it but my make up (Bare Escentuals mineral foundation) definitely goes on better when I do (note to self, stop being so lazy and apply Spackle daily)

Beauty Day - What Have You Bought?

Hi Red, I think that the Tweezerman tweezers are better than Shavata's. I have 3 pairs and have ordered more today. The reason I have 3 (incase you think i'm a tweezeraholic :1: ) is that when I sent my first pair off to be sharpened I had to get another pair whilst I was waiting for the...

    Ready To Wear Cosmetics

I think his eyeshadows are great but the face powder is ok, it makes me look a bit ashy and washed out (am fair skinned with strong pink undertones). Am just trying Halo by Smashbox and currently use Bares Escentuals foundation in medium which I find hard to beat (and my groaning make up...

Beauty Day - What Have You Bought?

Treated myself to Lulu's try me kit, as am always on the search for a good eye cream and hers had good reviews. I also went for Tweezerman tweezer set. I love their tweezers and have even taken them up on the offer that comes with them to have them sharpened for free at their Head Office in...

Catherine Huntley has changed so much !

I remember when she first started and I didn't warm to her but now she has come in to her own and definitely seems calm, relaxed and approachable.

Decleor Neroli Oil - a question....

Hmmm, I would also look at your whole routine - cleanser, toner, exfoliator Cleanser - Gel Demaquillant - cleansing gel Toner - matifying lotion Exfoliator- Phytopeel as an exfoliator is good, with oily skin you use it once a week, apply in a thin layer, let it dry slightly and supporting...

Decleor Neroli Oil - a question....

Rose D'orient is great for sensitive / reactive skin and the Neroli for all skin types that needs a bit of a boost, giving radiance. If your skin is oily during your breakouts then Ylang Ylang is a good one to try as it regulates the subum (oil) and purifies your skin. You could maybe try...

What would you like to see as a TSV?

doubt this would be possible but how about a TSV where you could cherry pick three items from 3 brands. For instance, from Laura Geller you could choose between spackle, bronze and brighten or balance and brighten. Then you had to choose an item from Smashbox, their primer, jet set eyeliner or...

Decleor Neroli Oil - a question....

Am Decleor trained (only on their facials not their body treatments) and they advise 3 drops and tap them over the face, then put your moisturiser on top (this turbo charges your moisturiser). Using more than 3 drops won't make any difference (so im told). Use the oil in the morning and the...

    Gale Hayman - TSV - 09/10/08

Have just had a quick look at the TSV and was v. disappointed, am a make up junkee and might have been tempted had the TSV been £15 and on at 3 easy pay :1: Have tried the lip lift, i liked it but it is small and expensive. I'd rather use something less expensive and larger in size (much like...

    Markon sizing

i've found that with their shoes I have to go down a size (that was a costly postal mistake:31:) and the boots were relatively ok. I think though it is a bit hit and miss but if they had a great pair of shoes or boots i'd risk it and go for it (as I have large feet and to find somewhere that...

    qvc addiction

My name is Beauty Sleuth and I am a QVC addict :1: I started watching about 4 or so years ago when I was going through a particularly tough time. QVC became almost like a friend to me, someone I would switch on and there would always be someone there keeping me company. I watched daily, really...

What is the Philosophy TSV on 1st October?

I couldn't stay awake for the Philosophy TSV (not even many cups of coffee could keep me awake):1: I was wondering was this the TSV http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/walk.yah.UKHB~U073 If it was it is now showing in stock, a few days after selling out....However, i could be...

Most used and least used QVC purchase

This is a fab thread :1: Most used: Pout eyeslick (no longer manufactured - RIP..) and Bare Escentuals foundation (although i buy mine from Ebay now - so not sure if that counts :33: Least used: quite a few but most recently the Philosophy Pomegrate shower gel (brought me out in an odd rash -...
