I wear flip flops as slippers, my DH calls me the "Flip Flop Contessa"!!!!! I have got a KitchenAid and it's great. We also bought DD one last year after house sitting and dog sitting for us. I use it loads, It's really useful at Christmas for baking and mashing all those spuds!!!

I've got the Brother 8080 (the one that automatically threads iteself). I'm really pleased with it, it was bought from IW, but there was a special deal to have it serviced free for 10 years at Coopers. I haven't done this yet, but may do in the future. HTH Ann x
