An alternative to Bare Escentuals brushes

Have to second the Body Shop ones as well - they are fantastic!! I got their Kabuki brush (foundation) and their kabuki blusher one and they are so soft and easy to use, don't moult either! I use Lily Lolo mineral make up, not been brave enough to dip into BE yet - just can't decide which shade...

help re alpha h liquid gold

Mine's clear too! I had a small bottle as part of a 'discovery' type set about Sept/Oct last year. First time I've used it and I like it very much, it tingles but is not rough even on my sensitive cheeks lol. Can't believe how nice my skin feels in the morning.

    Alison's advice!!!

I have an underactive thyroid and first thing in the morning I have puffy undereyes, as they day goes on/if I use a cooling gel under my eyes they normally go away, but not always, particularly if I'm really tired. I know it's my own fault sometimes - I just don't go to bed early enough quite...

    EasiYo TSV?

I have the yoghurt maker and have been using it for a couple of years now, I bought it though from my independent kitchen shop when luckily it was on offer! I get the sachets from there too, also from my Julian Graves shop near me. I must look in one of the shops this week as I like the look of...

What's that PRAI woman going on about?

Just watched most of the repeat this morning. I certainly won't be going for this, I just don't fancy having those 'gold particles' on my skin somehow. Plus she keeps calling us 'gulls' lol, omg 'ladies' and 'gulls' ???? grrrrrrrrr!!!!!:wonder:

What Beauty Brands would you like to see on QVC?

ooooh yes I'd love to see a full range of Burt's Bees things, also MAC Cosmetics, and agree with Jo Malone - can't think of any other things atm...... might add more later though! And finally, sort out the extortionate P&P costs, perleeeeeeeeeeease to make said purchases worthwhile

    Dennis Basso

I must say, it did surprise me - what he does for a living, so to speak . I really thought 'that' industry was dead - I thought that was in the dark ages now. And what with that coughing he does all the time - euugghhh!!!! No, I won't be watching his shows again. I do eat meat and wear...

    Dennis Basso

That's true! Everyone buy the TSV! Oh I didn't realise about the discussions already going on, perhaps there should be an 'ethically friendly' shopping channel

    Dennis Basso

I know I may be naive, but I thought Dennis Basso only sold faux fur things - I just happened to do a search - wondering where else his coats and things were sold, you know, anywhere cheaper and all that, and came across his website - full of real fur stuff I just quickly looked at something -...

    Another swizz re. silver

I keep looking at the jewellery they have on now and again, hoping there will be something nice to 'treat myself' lol (also my sister's birthday coming up), but no, nothing yet I've been drawn to and this TSV is just horrible! Yes, you can get much nicer things at Avon! or any of the high...

    That 'Love Jewellery' advert

Am I the only one that finds it a bit, well, creepy - that voiceover just gives me the creeps!! It was on yesterday afternoon when my daughter was home from school, she looked up from the computer and said "that's weird" lol!!!!! They seem to be playing it loads as well - arrrggghhhh :wonder:

    Question rejected!!

I posted a question and it was never answered about whether there was a particular ingredient in an SBC product. Thankfully it was kindly answered on here when I queried it on here, but surely guest presenters should look through the questions and answer them - that would be useful!

    First post...a good moan!

Hello JaquelineMammaof4, welcome to you! I'm a relative newbie myself, still 'slotting in' myself!! While on the subject of different presenters - should I mention the comments Ms Huntley said on the Diamonique show yesterday afternoon? She was showing some earrings and she was saying...
